About The Position

DMS Health Technologies is seeking a part-time Class A CDL Driver to join our team. For 50 years, DMS Health Technologies has been delivering quality medical imaging care and service. This role involves driving a mobile medical imaging unit to various healthcare facilities within a specified region. The position requires flexibility as routes are subject to change and may involve covering for other drivers. The driver will also be responsible for maintaining the truck and trailer, conducting pre-trip inspections, and adhering to DOT regulations for driver logs.

Requirements

One year recent truck driving experience.
Must be 23+ years of age.
Must have FMCSA Clearinghouse.
Clean MVR.
No more than two moving violations in the past 3 years.
No major violations in the last 5 years (reckless driving, DUI, etc.).
No felonies in the last 5 years.
No major preventable accidents in the past 3 years.
Must pass DOT Background Check including drug screen.
Strong communication, interpersonal, relationship building, customer service, time management and organizational skills.
The ability to work independently, make decisions, work well under pressure and to meet deadlines.
Ability to access job-related internet websites and email.
Fluent in use of ELD (training provided).
CDL - Class A
Valid DOT medical card.

Responsibilities

Transports the mobile unit to customer locations.
Maintains the truck and trailer, including checking and maintaining safety equipment (fire extinguishers, patient lift, smoke detectors, emergency lighting) and scheduling/documenting preventive maintenance.
Inspects the truck before and after each trip and submits a report indicating truck conditions.
Maintains driver logs according to DOT regulations.
Travels 100% of the time.
Performs other duties as assigned.
