About The Position

Safe operation of the company’s tractor/trailer fleet. Distribute product as dispatched in most efficient manner. Perform the required DOT pre and post trip truck and trailer inspections. Complete DVIR for pre and post trips and driving. Assist in loading and unloading of steel and other supplies. Provide customer service in professional manner. Servicing customers in NJ / NY / CT / PA / DE & MD.

Requirements

• Class A CDL
• Must have a medical card
• Meet all Norfolk Iron & Metal and DOT employment qualifications
• Pass a drug test and background check
• Able to meet the requirements necessary to perform the job
• Have a great work ethic
