About The Position

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to transport and deliver building materials to retail stores and construction job sites using a tractor-trailer. This is a local, hands-on delivery driving position requiring safe driving, excellent customer service, and the ability to load and unload materials using a Manitou or Moffett. The role involves performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintaining vehicle integrity, ensuring DOT compliance, and following all safety procedures. Occasional weekend work may be required.

Requirements

Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
2 years commercial truck driving experience (equivalent Military DD214 experience is acceptable)
1 year of flatbed experience
Clean driving record
Willing to strap flatbed loads
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.
Multi-drop delivery experience a plus
Ability to work independently or with a team
Ability to plan and manage time efficiently
Ability to work safely throughout the day and prevent unsafe conditions
Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and integrity of vehicle and equipment.
Immediately report any necessary repairs and/or maintenance needed.
Actively ensure compliance with DOT guidelines.
Load and unload truck using a Manitou or Moffett (Training Provided).
Verify entire content loads prior to leaving manufacturing facility or job site.
Follow all safety procedures for transporting goods.
Occasional Weekend work.
