About The Position
AmeriLux Transportation, LLC is seeking CDL Drivers for a Home Daily role due to significant customer growth. This position involves consistent runs averaging 400-500 miles per day, ensuring drivers return home each night. Drivers often service the same docks daily. AmeriLux prides itself on a people-centric culture and a business model designed for driver success, evidenced by a 95+% driver retention rate. The fleet consists of late-model tractors (average age <36 months) pulling 53’ Dry Vans. The schedule is Monday – Friday with optional weekends, offering steady and predictable daily schedules with consistent customer freight. Flexible start times are available to accommodate driver preferences. Drivers benefit from personal communication with dispatch, avoiding long hold times.
Requirements
- Valid commercial license (CDL-A)
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable driving experience
- 3 years of work history
- Safe Driving Record
- Must have a DOT physical on file
- Pass substance abuse screening, pre-employment, and random checks.
Responsibilities
- Operate a Class A CDL vehicle according to all state and federal laws.
- Complete runs averaging 400-500 miles per day, returning home nightly.
- Service consistent customer freight and often bump the same docks daily.
- Commit to continuous safety improvement.
- Work effectively with other team members.
