About The Position

DMS Health Technologies has been delivering quality medical imaging care and service to its partners and their patients for 50 years. We are looking for a full-time Class A CDL Driver to operate our mobile medical imaging equipment and transport it to various healthcare facilities. This role is crucial as our drivers are the backbone of our company. We offer competitive compensation, benefits, and a cell phone stipend.

Requirements

Class A CDL
Valid DOT medical card
One year recent truck driving experience.
Must be 23+ years of age.
Must have FMCSA Clearinghouse.
Clean MVR.
No more than two moving violations in the past 3 years.
No major violations in the last 5 years (reckless driving, DUI, etc.).
No felonies in the last 5 years.
No major preventable accidents in the past 3 years.
Must pass DOT Background Check including drug screen.
Strong communication, interpersonal, relationship building, customer service, time management and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently, make decisions, work well under pressure and to meet deadlines.
Ability to access job-related internet websites and email.
Fluent in use of ELD (training available).

Responsibilities

Transports the mobile unit to customer locations.
Maintains the truck and trailer, including checking and maintaining fire extinguishers, patient lift, smoke detectors, and emergency lighting.
Schedules and documents preventive maintenance for the truck and trailer.
Inspects the truck before and after each trip and submits a report indicating truck conditions.
Maintains driver logs according to DOT regulations.
Travels 100% of the time.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Works an alternative schedule within the region as needed to provide backup coverage for leaves of absences, vacations, unplanned absences, etc., on unscheduled days.
