About The Position

UNIS Transportation is seeking experienced Class A CDL Drivers to join their LTL & FTL Division. This role involves transporting non-hazardous freight within a local delivery network, offering steady Monday-Friday work with consistent freight volume. Drivers will operate various equipment, including box trucks and 53' tractors/trailers, with both automatic and manual transmissions. The position is suitable for drivers who enjoy a mix of pickup and delivery tasks and are comfortable with different equipment types.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience
• Ability to operate automatic and manual transmissions
• Valid DOT Medical Card
• Acceptable MVR and DOT/Safety record
• No DUI's or major driving violations
• Must pass required drug and alcohol testing
• Must pass a background check
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, Hours of Service, vehicle inspections, and safe driving practices

Nice To Haves

• Experience with LTL and/or FTL operations
• Experience operating both box trucks and 53' tractors/trailers
