About The Position

Contract Lumber is seeking an entry-level CDL-A driver to operate our F-350 flatbed runner truck and serve as a backup driver for our tandem trucks and semi's. This is a local runs only position, and drivers will be home every night. The role involves loading, securing, and delivering material, performing vehicle inspections per DOT requirements, checking loads for accuracy, and ensuring all loads are safely secured. Effective communication with employees, leadership, and customers is essential.

Requirements

• Class A CDL License
• Driving record must meet current DOT regulations
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
• Hardworking, Responsible, Motivated Individual

Nice To Haves

• Great Attitude and a Team Player
• Ability to learn and safely operate a Piggyback or Princeton (Forklift)

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, and deliver material
• Inspections of delivery vehicles, per DOT requirements
