About The Position
Norfolk Iron & Metal is looking for motivated, friendly members to join our growing team! We are a family-owned company since 1908 and one of the nation's largest metal distributors. This role involves securing loads according to DOT and Norfolk Iron & Metal Load Securement policies, providing excellent customer service during deliveries, and adhering to all DOT and FMCSA guidelines. The driver will also be responsible for completing pre and post-trip DVIRs and ensuring timely completion of all required paperwork.
Requirements
- Class A CDL
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record
- Pass drug screen
Responsibilities
- Secure loads in regards with DOT and Norfolk Iron & Metal Load Securement policies.
- Provide excellent customer service while making deliveries.
- Follow all DOT and FMCSA guidelines.
- Complete DVIR for pre and post trips and driving.
- Ensure that all required paperwork is completed in a timely manner.
