This is not a typical trucking job where drivers wait for loads or dispatch. Freight is readily available, lanes are pre-determined, and home time is guaranteed. Drivers can expect to earn between $1,300 to $1,500 weekly, covering 2,000 to 2,400 miles on a stable regional network. The role involves regional dry van freight with assigned Freightliner Cascadia or Kenworth T680 trucks. The majority of loads are drop and hook, with some live loads. Freight is no-touch. Drivers will have a dedicated planner. Home time includes a weekly 34-hour reset at home, which is non-negotiable. Lane design prioritizes on-time home arrival. Drivers seeking more miles can opt to extend their runs. For new drivers, no prior OTR experience is required, and paid mentorship runs for 4-5 weeks with a certified trainer, covering log management, inspection protocols, and safe driving. Every training shift is paid, and solo dispatch begins after the trainer clears the driver.
