About The Position

American Driver is hiring Class A CDL drivers in Fernandina Beach, FL. This position offers a fully paid training program for new drivers who have completed their CDL school hours. The role involves no-touch dry van freight, with approximately 60% drop and hook. Drivers can expect to drive 2,200–2,500 miles per week on Eastern routes with consistent year-round freight. Dispatch is available for both day and night shifts. Drivers will be home every two weeks on a planned, consistent schedule. The equipment provided includes assigned Freightliner or Kenworth trucks (2022–2025 models) with APUs on all units.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Must be age 21+.
• Completed at least 120 hours at an accredited CDL school.
• No major violations in the last 3 years.
• No DUI in the last 5 years.
• Must pass a hair follicle and urine drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Complete a 4–6 week fully paid training program with a dedicated mentor.
• Handle live freight from day one, including real loads and routes.
• Learn and apply knowledge of ELD, HOS, inspections, and daily operations.
• Drive no-touch dry van freight, with approximately 60% drop and hook.
• Operate within Eastern routes, covering 2,200–2,500 miles per week.
• Adhere to day and night dispatch schedules.
• Maintain assigned Freightliner or Kenworth trucks (2022–2025 models).
