About The Position

The Driver/Shop Laborer will perform a wide range of physical activities that require strength and flexibility of whole body for handling, positioning, moving, and manipulating equipment and materials and vacuum truck operations. Driver/Shop Laborer will be responsible for driving and operating efficiently and safely all power equipment and vehicles in accordance with DOT laws and regulations.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift certified.
• 2 years’ experience required behind an 18-wheeler.
• Must possess a valid Class A CDL.
• Experience load securement, bumper pull, gooseneck, tractor-trailer and pintle hitch.
• No RESTRICTIONS. Must be legally allowed to drive a manual transmission truck.
• Must possess a valid TWIC card or be willing to obtain one.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Must be capable of passing a personal background screen.
• Must be capable of passing an MVR background screen.
• Must be able to travel for extended periods of time.
• Willing to respond to emergency calls 24 hours, 7 days a week as needed.
• Willing to perform all required job duties in accordance with training.
• Willing to perform all job duties in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Willing to understand and follow all given directions.
