Safely delivers products to customer accounts as per assigned routes, offers excellent customer service, and upsells SESS products. Checks inventory, rotates stock, shelves products, and collects payments. The ideal candidate is team-oriented with a positive attitude. This role involves managing money throughout the day, providing accounting with collection details, and potentially managing a Driver Sales Assistant. Essential duties include validating truck inventory, conducting pre- and post-trip inspections, delivering products according to route sheets, servicing accounts by checking freshness dates, rotating products, stocking shelves (hot and cold), and maximizing market share. The role also requires building relationships with accounts, upselling products, collecting payments, and following check-in procedures upon return. Flexibility is needed to change routes, assist other routes, and run hot shots when required. Safety is paramount, and employees are expected to follow safety rules, coach others on safety, and maintain a clean truck. Other duties may be assigned, and assistance to co-workers is expected.
