We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Class A CDL Driver with Hazmat endorsement required. This is a hands-on flatbed position that involves more than just driving—drivers are actively involved in loading, securing, and unloading freight.

Requirements

  • Valid Class A CDL required
  • Active Hazmat endorsement required
  • Ability to obtain DOT medical card (or currently valid)
  • Clean driving record and ability to pass MVR review
  • Ability to complete required customer clearances (e.g., TWIC, DISA if required)
  • Experience with flatbed hauling and load securement (chains/straps)
  • Ability to travel overnight and occasionally cross regional routes
  • Ability to understand weight distribution and load requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Construction or field service experience preferred (0–2 years acceptable)
  • Fusion experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a DOT-regulated Class A commercial vehicle
  • Drivers are required to exit the truck and actively participate in all jobsite operations
  • Identify all items being delivered or picked up with the customer to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Perform visual inspection of equipment at pickup/delivery and document any damage
  • Obtain customer signatures on required paperwork
  • Operate material handling equipment to safely load and unload trucks and trailers
  • Secure all flatbed loads using straps, chains, and proper load securement techniques
  • Assist in full load securement, setup, and tear-down at customer sites
  • Hook and disconnect hoses and support equipment as required
  • Operate fusion equipment to build HDPE (high-density polyethylene) pipelines at customer sites
  • Connect pumping systems and ensure operational readiness of pipeline systems
  • Understand and adjust for environmental and weather impacts on fusion work
  • Maintain compliance with FMCSA, DOT, and all applicable safety regulations
  • Conduct Job Safety Assessments prior to beginning work at customer sites
  • Ensure proper use of all required PPE at all times
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and yard environment
  • Work effectively in a team environment while also operating independently with minimal supervision
  • Take ownership of company property and equipment
  • Demonstrate a strong safety-first culture and accountability in all work activities
