About The Position

This role will involve driving a semi and hopper, tender truck, or truck and trailer with agronomy products, grain, and feed ingredients. This position provides a great opportunity to contribute to the agricultural industry and allows drivers to be home every night. This is an hourly position.

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of driving experience
Class A CDL and valid medical card
MVR must pass insurance requirements
Will be required to participate in WFR’s drug and alcohol testing program
Must have a cell phone with internet capability
Ability to drive in a safe manner
Ability to follow all laws and regulations
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
Ability to stand, walk and be on feet
Ability to bend, reach, squat & kneel
Ability to sit for extended periods of time
Capable of doing repeated actions
Effectively communicate with team members

Responsibilities

Load products, and ingredients and deliver to the proper destination
Transport and deliver product over distances in a safe, efficient, timely, and legal manner
Must be able to back in and out of areas
Must be ablet to follow directions to get to work sites
Hook and unhook trailers
Install and remove tire chains as required by weather
Inspect truck and trailer for defects before and after trips
Complete all necessary paperwork, maintaining records
Deal with delays, change, or unexpected events
Put safety at the forefront, following all rules and laws
Responsible to appropriately utilize WFR fuel cards
Assist with other areas of the business as needed
