About The Position

W.B. Mason is hiring a full-time, third-shift Class A CDL Delivery Driver for overnight delivery work. This is a local, non-OTR position, and drivers are home every day. The role offers guaranteed pay and work for eight hours per day, with daily overtime available. The driver works independently to make accurate and timely deliveries and pickups, meet deadlines, and provide positive customer service. The position requires daily vehicle inspections, compliance with applicable driving regulations, and the ability to work overnight and in various weather conditions.

Requirements

At least 1 year of driving experience.
Valid Class A CDL and a clean driving record.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT medical certificate.
High school degree or equivalent.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
Time-management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Strong communication and customer-service skills.
Willingness to work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Work overnight.
Meet time limits and deadlines.
Accurately drop off and pick up deliveries.
Build positive customer relationships and ensure client satisfaction.
Obtain client signatures.
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Follow FMCSA, DOT, and traffic laws and regulations.
Solve problems and address customer concerns when appropriate.
