About The Position

Admiral Beverage Corporation (ABC) is seeking a part-time Delivery Driver in the Albuquerque, NM area. This role involves delivering product to convenience stores on an established local route, providing excellent customer service, and resolving any complaints or discrepancies. The driver will be responsible for recording delivery information, rotating product displays, and ensuring merchandise is attractively presented on shelves and in coolers according to company standards. The work environment can be loud, and the employee may be exposed to outdoor weather conditions and airborne particles/fumes. The position requires operating hand trucks or electric pallet jacks to unload the truck and transferring product to maximize in-store availability and minimize stock room inventory while adhering to 'Sell By' dates. The driver will also collect empty containers or rejected/unsold merchandise and ensure truck loads are properly secured.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid Class A CDL license.
Driving record must meet Admiral Beverage vehicle policy requirements.
Ability to perform essential functions with little or no supervision.
Ability to lift up to 70 pounds as needed.
Capable of meeting the physical requirements of this job, including standing, lifting, bending, carrying, and driving for extended periods.
Willing to submit to pre-employment background check and regular drug screens.

Responsibilities

Delivers product to convenience stores on an established local route.
Provides excellent customer service to both store owners, and customers.
Effectively resolves any complaints or discrepancies.
Records delivery, buy back, and variance information on daily delivery record.
Responsible for rotation of displays, coolers, and back stock.
Operates hand trucks and/or electric pallet jacks to unload truck.
Displays beverage merchandise on shelves, showcases, and on sales floor of retail store to attract attention of prospective customers.
Arranges products according to prearranged plan or own ideas approved by management.
Constructs or assembles display aids from company provided Point of Sale (POS) materials.
Places price and descriptive signs on backdrop, fixtures, merchandise, or floor.
Cleans shelves, coolers and other display structures on a regular basis.
Transfers product from customer stock room to designated floor or cooler displays in order to comply with "Sell By" dates, maximize product in store and minimize product in stock room.
Collects or picks up empty containers or rejected or unsold merchandise.
Conducts and/or verifies truck loading and unloading and secures loads.
Issues or obtains customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery.
