About The Position

Denali is seeking a safety-focused and dependable Class A CDL Bobtail Driver to support operations throughout Southwest City, MO, Siloam Springs, AR, and Joplin, MO. In this role, you will operate a 5,000-gallon vacuum bobtail truck to collect organic waste from food manufacturing facilities, grocery stores, restaurants, and other customer locations before transporting materials to designated storage sites or approved agricultural land application fields. As a key member of Denali's operations team, you'll play an important role in helping transform organic waste into valuable, sustainable agricultural nutrients while maintaining the highest standards of safety, environmental stewardship, and customer service. This is a local, home-daily position with no overnight travel, allowing you to return home after every shift.

Requirements

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
  • Current DOT Medical Card.
  • Clean driving record with the ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screening, and background check.
  • Strong commitment to safety, environmental compliance, and customer service.
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify and report equipment issues.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively managing assigned routes and daily responsibilities.
  • Dependable with excellent attendance and a strong work ethic.

Nice To Haves

  • Tanker endorsement preferred or ability to obtain.
  • Previous experience operating vacuum trucks, tanker trucks, bobtail trucks, or other commercial route vehicles preferred.
  • Experience using Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs) and mobile ticketing systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a 5,000-gallon vacuum bobtail truck on assigned local routes.
  • Collect organic waste from food processing plants, manufacturing facilities, restaurants, grocery stores, and other customer locations.
  • Transport loads to designated storage facilities or approved land application sites.
  • Perform safe and accurate land application of organic materials in accordance with company procedures and environmental regulations.
  • Flag and prepare application fields to ensure safe unloading operations.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and promptly report maintenance concerns.
  • Maintain 100% accuracy using the company's Ticket System (OMS) for service documentation and load tracking.
  • Operate Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs) while remaining compliant with all DOT Hours of Service regulations.
  • Safely load, transport, unload, and handle organic materials while minimizing environmental impact.
  • Maintain effective communication with dispatch, operations personnel, land application teams, and customers.
  • Keep trucks, hoses, pumps, and equipment clean, organized, and inspection-ready.
  • Follow all DOT regulations, OSHA standards, company safety policies, and environmental compliance requirements.
  • Immediately report equipment malfunctions, spills, accidents, or customer service concerns.
  • Provide professional and courteous customer service while representing Denali in the field.
