About The Position
The Arms Trucking Co. is looking to hire full-time local Class A CDL and class B CDL Drivers! This position offers the opportunity to be home daily and work for a company that treats its employees like family and supports their success. The company operates a fleet of air cans, flatbeds, semi-dumps, and straight truck dumps, with a focus on maintaining a modern fleet with both automatic and manual transmissions.
Requirements
- Minimum age - 23 yrs
- Class A or B CDL
- Clean driving and safety record
- Minimum experience of 2 years
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to go above and beyond
- Winning attitude and approachable personality
- Takes pride in work
Responsibilities
- Safely operate the class A or B truck to transport a variety of goods locally
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate ELD logs and any other necessary documentation
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
- Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, and other team members
- Ensure timely delivery and maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with customers
