About The Position

Big Chill Distribution is seeking an experienced Class 5 Driver for their Blenheim branch. This full-time role involves the delivery and pick-up of chilled and frozen products nationwide. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of Class 5 driving experience, experience in temperature-controlled transport, and excellent communication and customer service skills, as they will be the face of the company on the road. Responsibilities include assisting the stores team with loading/unloading, collaborating with dispatchers, and ensuring compliance with delivery times and temperature control.

Requirements

• Qualified Class 5 driver with at least 2 years' experience
• OSH Forklift Operator certified with experience operating a forklift
• Experience working in frozen/temperature-controlled environments
• Demonstrable organisational and time management abilities
• Committed to delivering exceptional customer service at all times
• Strong understanding of Health, Safety and Compliance.
• Pass a drug test and satisfactory MOJ criminal check and ACC check prior to commencement.

Responsibilities

• Delivery and pick up of chilled and frozen products
• Providing assistance to the Stores team to present product for loading/unloading
• Collaborating with dispatchers to ensure timely deliveries
• Compliance in delivery times and temperature control of customer goods
