We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented a Class 5 Delivery Driver to support our delivery team. Truck would be 5-ton (8-10 pallet trucks), Automatic (no brake), Clean driving record and Class 5 License required.

Requirements

• Clean driving record
• Class 5 License required
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
• A strong understanding of the Halifax regional Municipality geography.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in local delivery an asset or strong knowledge of local routes
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Morning truck checks
• Maintain a clean vehicle
• Delivery of products to Airports and other pick up drop offs as required
• Working inside the lobster room helping to prepare shipments for Airport delivery
• Prepare boxes and materials for shipping orders.
• Pack lobster required for shipping
• Load and unload delivery trucks efficiently and safely
• Operate pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified or trained)
• Follow all safety and handling procedures
