Class 3 Driver
About The Position
Loraas Disposal North is an integrated services company that provides solid waste collection, transfer, disposal and recycling services to local residents and businesses throughout Saskatchewan. We are looking for a Class 3 Truck Driver to join our Saskatoon district. We offer a great paying career with great incentives. As a Front Load Garbage Truck Driver, you are responsible for the safe operation of a truck, including driving, loading, and unloading. You will drive to customer locations for pick up, hoist bins onto the truck to empty contents using a hydraulic lift, and proceed to subsequent customers until the truck is full. You will then dump the load at a transfer station before continuing customer pickups.
Requirements
- Valid Class 3F Or Class 3A
- Clean driving record
- 2+ years of local route driving experience
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment requirements
Responsibilities
- Ensuring safe operation of a truck, while driving, loading/unloading.
- Driving to customer location for pick up.
- Hoisting bin onto truck to empty contents using a hydraulic lift.
- Proceeding to subsequent customers until the truck has a full load.
- Dumping the load at a transfer station before continuing customer pickups.
