Class 2 Delivery Driver
About The Position
We are seeking a Class 2 Multi Drop Driver who is looking for a role with more autonomy and the opportunity to provide excellent customer service. As a driver for 'the UK’s No. 1 Bakery Brand', you will be responsible for accurately picking orders, loading your vehicle, and delivering bakery products to multiple customers daily. Your knowledge of vehicle maintenance, transport legislation, and customer service skills will be key to ensuring a smooth and safe operation. This role offers a defined rotating 5-day work pattern, including weekends, with approximately 43 hours per week, allowing for a good work-life balance.
Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence with Class C entitlement
- Digital Tacho Card
- Full CPC
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance
- Knowledge of transport legislation (Driver Hours, Working Time Directive)
- Knowledge of the Highway Code
- Ability to provide quality customer service
- Ability to manage difficult conversations professionally
- Ability to work a rotating 5-day pattern including weekends

Responsibilities
- Accurately pick orders from delivery notes or an electronic device.
- Load the vehicle with bakery products.
- Deliver products to multiple customers daily.
- Provide quality service and develop strong relationships with customers.
- Manage difficult conversations in a calm and professional manner.
- Act as an ambassador for the brand and live the company values.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any faults.
- Ensure compliance with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive, and the Highway Code.
