About The Position

We are currently hiring Class 1 Truck Drivers for local short haul shuttle lane between Waneta and Trail, BC, moving concentrate, zinc and lead metals, and ferrous granules. Requirements

• Valid Class 1 Driver’s Licence
• Ability to operate multiple truck and trailer configurations
• Strong safety mindset and adherence to procedures
• Acceptable driver’s abstract
• Ability to pass pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Testing
• Must meet site requirements, including clean-shaven policy

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Super-B combinations preferred

Responsibilities

• Haul concentrate, refined metals, and materials between Waneta and Trail facilities
• Operate multiple equipment types, including: End dump truck and trailer, Tandem truck with Super-B belly dump, Tandem truck with Super-B curtain side
• Perform multiple short-haul trips per shift in a fast-paced environment
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections for safety and compliance
• Secure loads and ensure safe transport of materials
• Complete electronic logs and records using ISAAC system
• Maintain clean and safe equipment
