Class 1 Operators - Full Time Opportunities
About The Position
Vertex is growing, and we're looking for Class 1 Operators with experience operating Semi-Vac, Super B's, Combo Vac's, Straight Vac's and Pressure Trucks to join our Bonnyville, Alberta team. We're seeking local candidates from the Bonnyville area. This is a great opportunity to work close to home for candidates that take pride in their work, are reliable and have a strong commitment to safety. We are currently looking for Full Time Class 1 Operators with Semi-Vac, Super B, Combo-Vac, Straight-Vac and Pressure Truck experience to join our team! We are looking for Operators who are looking for full time work.
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 drivers license with a clean commercial drivers abstract
- 3-5 years of experience with Semi Vac, Super B, Combo Vac, Straight Vac and Pressure Trucks
- ELD logbook experience
- Possess H2S Alive, First Aid and CSO safety tickets
- Demonstrate a commitment to environmental compliance and safe work practices
- Ability to work independently while managing time and productivity
- Must be in good health and physical condition to perform duties assigned
- Integrity and reliability, willing to accept out of town work when applicable/necessary
Nice To Haves
- Possess CSTS 2020, Fall Protection and Confined Space Entry & Monitor safety tickets
Responsibilities
- Ensure customer and client satisfaction by providing excellent customer service at all times
- Comply with Company policies and procedures, health and safety procedures, Department of Transportation and hazardous materials/waste requirements and regulations
- Perform maintenance on units to ensure cleanliness and efficient operation
- Complete and maintain all required paperwork and documentation properly within set timelines; this includes daily logs, dispatch and trip reports and time sheets
- Follow all local, provincial and federal compliance regulations and rules
- Perform pre and post trip inspections, follow company policies and procedures for routine maintenance, perform general housekeeping to ensure units are operating properly and report any inefficiency to Supervisor
- Safely observe all company operating guidelines and procedures
- Observe all company environmental health and safety operating guidelines
