We are currently accepting resumes for two experienced Local Class 1 Driver / Warehouse persons for our Prince George, BC operations. We are hiring for 2 separate positions for a P.M shift (1pm to close)

Requirements

  • Valid Class 1 license
  • Minimum 1 year of local driving experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations
  • Driver's abstract must show no driving-related criminal code convictions in the prior 36 months; no more than 2 moving violations in the prior 12 months; and no more than 3 moving violations in the prior 36 months. The date of conviction and the current date will be the date used to determine time periods
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug testing
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Proficient in English (both reading and writing)
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude

Nice To Haves

  • Previous warehouse experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Operate Class 1 vehicles for local deliveries and pickups
  • Safely transport goods to designated locations
  • Assist with loading/unloading of materials at the warehouse
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and documents
  • Ensure all safety regulations and standards are followed
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on vehicles / power units
  • Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
