Division: British Columbia Position: Delivery Service Representative (Kelowna) Schedule: 3 X 12 with a third week rotation | Floater | 4:30am Start Time Position Overview The Delivery Service Rep. will be responsible for covering delivery shifts out of Kelowna and assist with surrounding areas when needed.
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract.
- Eligibility for bonding and transportation of dangerous goods (TDG) certification.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- A high-level of integrity and a strong work ethic, able to work with little supervision and be self directed.
- Professional demeanor under stressful situations.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and to lift up to 80 lbs on frequent basis
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Availability for weekends and statutory holidays
Responsibilities
- Correctly offloading product
- Recording of delivery information
- Accepting payment for goods when required
- Ensuring operational vehicle safety in all aspects
- Operating the vehicle in a safe manner at all times, obeying all rules and regulations of the road, and following all appropriate company policies and procedures.
