The ideal candidate will be timely in all tasks, meeting deadlines with efficiency and accuracy. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, are key to success in this position.
Requirements
- Class 1 Driver's License
- Minimum 2 years experience driving tractor trailer unit
- Must have experience at backing and maneuvering a tractor trailer unit in tight areas
- Manual transmission experience / NO automatic transmission restriction
- Applicants Must Legally Entitled to work in Canada
Responsibilities
- Local trips to poultry farms located between Surrey and Agassiz
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle such as condition of equipment
- Safety must come first daily
- On-time delivery
- Excellent attendance
- Delivering live poultry from local farms to processing plants
