About The Position

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Class 1A Propane Driver on a full-time permanent basis in Fort St. John, BC. This position is a part-time role, with opportunity to work up to full time hours during the busy winter months. The role involves presenting a positive image in customer service while making propane deliveries to various local customers. Daily pre-and post-trip inspections, tracking hours, and reporting issues using an electronic log system are required. Maintaining company vehicles, ensuring preventative maintenance is carried out and minor repairs are conducted, is also part of the role. Performing work with a high standard of safety in all operations, ensuring compliance with procedures, policies, and regulations is paramount.

Requirements

1+ years of professional driving experience (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
A Class 1A license.
Familiarity with computers and/or electronic log systems.
Comfortable with physically demanding work such as pulling heavy hose and other equipment with a minimum weight of 50lbs.
Comfortable undergoing a pre-employment alcohol and substance test to qualify for safety-sensitive work.
