Requirements
- Valid Class 1 Driver's License
- Willing to load trucks (with coal) using a payloader – training provided if required
- 18 years of age or older
- Minimum of 1-year experience operating tractor/trailer combination
- The ability to work from written and verbal instructions
- The ability to work with a team, take direction from supervisor(s), adhere to required work schedules, focus attention on details, and follow work rules
- The ability to safely perform the essential functions of the job without posing a direct threat to the safety of his or her own self, or the safety of others
- The ability to work overtime as required
- The ability to read, write, and understand English
- Successful candidates must be willing to work any shift, including weekends (no overnight work)
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport and deliver coal to designated locations in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and customer requirements
