About The Position
Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Class 1 Driver to deliver and recover a variety of equipment, tools, and supplies to and from customer worksites. This role involves driving a flatbed or roll-back truck in various conditions, including urban, suburban, and rural settings, and requires the ability to drive safely in tight spaces like construction zones. Requirements
- Valid Driver’s license with Class 1 Certification and acceptable driver's record.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior training and/or experience with similar commercial equipment preferred.
- Experience with towing generators up to 20,000lbs preferred.
- Customer service attitude.
- Ability to operate cranes (training will be provided to the right candidates).
- Experience driving crane trucks to various job sites (commercial, events etc.).
- Ability to troubleshoot and make minor repairs to equipment and vehicle at job sites.

Responsibilities
- Deliver and recover a variety of equipment, tools, and supplies to and from the customer worksite.
- Drive a flatbed or roll-back truck in a variety of conditions, including urban, suburban, and rural settings.
- Drive safely in tight settings such as construction zones.
- Drive 10-ton box trucks, stakebody and trailer combinations (generator delivery), and occasionally, tractor-trailer combinations.
- Operate cranes (training will be provided).
- Drive crane trucks to various job sites (commercial, events etc.).
- Troubleshoot and make minor repairs to equipment and vehicle at job sites.
- Demonstrate proper usage of equipment to customers at point of delivery.
