About The Position

Park Paving Ltd. is seeking an experienced Class 1 Equipment Driver with End Dump Experience to join their Transportation Division. This role is crucial for managing high work volumes during the road construction season. The company has been a local, family-owned business for over 50 years and is one of the largest road construction contractors in Edmonton and the surrounding area.

Requirements

Possess a valid clean class 1 drivers license and reliable transportation to work
5+ years of end dump experience
Must have a driving record free of major infractions
Must pass a medical/fitness exam

Responsibilities

Completing pre-trip and preventative maintenance on your assigned vehicle
Continuously monitor all fluid levels, vehicle operation and handling, and report any defects to your supervisor
Operating a tractor-trailer combo to load and transport heavy equipment from jobsite-to-jobsite
Adhere to the Motor Vehicle Transport Act 1987 Commercial Vehicle Driver’s Hours of Service Regulation
Complete accurate digital administrative documentation such as timesheets, safety forms, and log books
Competent at loading and unloading mobile heavy equipment, proper load securement
