About The Position

Manitoulin Transport is seeking a Class 1 Driver for its Inuvik location. This role involves City Pickup & Delivery (P&D) in and around the Inuvik area. The candidate must possess a Class 1 license and be flexible to drive either a tractor-trailer or a body job based on freight volumes. The shift begins at 6:00 am, Monday to Friday, and includes duties such as safely unloading inbound freight from the dock, and loading and securing freight onto P&D trucks. Other duties as required.

Requirements

• Class 1 license with air.
• Reliable and dependable.
• Physically fit.
• Must be able to provide a criminal record check, driver abstract, and 2 work-related references.

Nice To Haves

• 1 Year of City Pickup & Delivery experience.
• TDG, WHMIS, Forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive a tractor-trailer or body job depending on freight volumes.
• Unload inbound freight safely from the dock.
• Load and secure freight onto P&D trucks.
• Perform City Pickup & Delivery in and around Inuvik.
• Other duties as required.
