Requirements

  • A secondary school leaving certificate.
  • Ability to exceed sales targets.
  • High level of collaboration: Working with and for others in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment that requires a high degree of versatility with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work flexible hours to suit customer needs, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • At least two years’ experience in a commission-based sales environment.
  • Previous experience in retail as a product specialist in a luxury environment.
  • Entrepreneurial, competitive, independent, and self-motivated.
  • Fully bilingual in French and English.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding service to all customers.
  • Exceed individual sales and service targets.
  • Exceed the Clarins brand’s sales and service targets.
  • Build a loyal customer base by attracting new customers, fostering loyalty among existing customers, and retaining loyal customers.
  • Share product knowledge with the entire in-store sales team.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with customers, sales advisers, and sales managers.
  • Increase sales of the Clarins brand by identifying key marketing opportunities, organizing events, and making recommendations to customers.
  • Attend all training sessions on products, the Clarins brand, and Holt Renfrew.
  • Carry out tasks relating to order picking, visual merchandising, price changes, and sales support.
  • Communicate regularly with customers by telephone, post, and email regarding in-store events, stock requests, sales follow-ups, birthdays, etc.
  • Resolve all customer service issues and liaise with sales management on any matters not covered by the guidelines.
  • Comply with all health and safety policies and requirements.
  • Carry out other tasks as required.
