About The Position

The Clamp Truck Operator unloads, inspects, labels, organizes, and moves roll stock into raw stock inventory and to the appropriate machine station. The operator maintains stock rotation and warehouse organization, checks production schedules, follows equipment and safety procedures, and reports damaged stock or mechanical problems to the shift supervisor. The role is full-time, hourly, and scheduled for the third shift, 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.; the shift may vary based on production needs, and weekend work may be required as needed. The position is based at the Waxahachie Sheet Feeder in Waxahachie, Texas. Pay is $21.85 per hour. The posting describes sign-on and retention bonuses, including $500 after 30 days, $500 after six months, $500 after one year, and an additional lump sum after two years.

Requirements

Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Ability to read orders.
Warehouse and/or manufacturing experience.
Forklift and/or clamp truck experience.
Stable and verifiable work history.
Ability to safely lift or move up to 50 pounds during a regular work shift.

Responsibilities

Unload roll stock.
Inspect roll stock for damage, label each roll with an International Paper tag, and set damaged stock apart while communicating the damage to the shift supervisor.
Ensure the bill of lading is signed.
Place roll stock into raw stock inventory and maintain FIFO rotation.
Organize rolls by grade and width, with smaller butts first.
Check the schedule for current and upcoming machine orders.
Bring paper to the machine at the correct station and put it in the correct position.
Service the butt roll discharge area.
Report mechanical problems to the shift supervisor.
Follow safety procedures for operating work equipment.
Keep the warehouse neat and orderly.
Inspect equipment before use, including locking in the dock lock and ensuring tandems are in the correct position.
Wear all required personal protective equipment.
Safely lift or move up to 50 pounds during a regular work shift.
Perform other duties as assigned.
