The Clamp Truck Operator is responsible for locating and transporting roll stock to the corrugator and performing other service functions to support corrugator operations. This role involves loading and unloading rail cars and semi-trucks, reporting to the corrugator shift supervisor, and adhering to all safety rules and procedures. The operator will also orient and turn roll stock at the direction of the machine operator, maintain organized in-process inventories, and communicate line-ups to other shifts. Additional duties include conveying nonessential stock to alternate storage areas, keeping the supervisor informed of any problems or unusual situations, maintaining work areas to plant standards of housekeeping, and fostering teamwork with corrugator machine crews and other associates. The position requires following prescribed practices, performing other assigned duties, and cross-training as needed.
