About The Position

International Paper is seeking a Clamp Truck Operator for their facility in Murfreesboro, TN. This is a full-time, hourly position with a pay rate of $20.98 - $23.71. A sign-on bonus of $500 is offered after 6 months of employment and another $500 after 1 year. The role involves unloading, storing, and transporting paper rollstock to and from the laminator, as well as maintaining clean and organized storage areas. The Clamp Truck Driver reports to the laminator supervisor and must adhere to all plant safety, quality, and product safety procedures.

Requirements

The ability to meet the requirements of the job with or without accommodation
Certified ability to safely operate a forklift truck and clamp truck
Ability to read, write, and speak English
Ability to accurately read a measuring tape and ruler
Ability to use basic shop math
Ability to learn
Ability to follow instructions, ask questions, and work effectively as a member of a team

Responsibilities

Following all plant safety, quality, product safety, and other rules and procedures
Unloading and storing rollstock from rail cars and/or trucks
Identifying unloaded rolls with tags and writing
Checking corrugator schedules, and obtaining and delivering the appropriate rollstock to the various wet end positions
Returning down (butt) and/or unused rolls from the wet end to the rollstock warehouse
Keeping track of rollstock tallies and tickets
Assisting with loading and unloading of any raw materials and/or FG from machine
Helping wet end crews and on other parts of the corrugator when the machine is down
Maintaining clean and organized work areas
Performing other duties as assigned by supervision
