About The Position

In the role of ClaimsXM Application Developer II, you will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, translate them into technical specifications and deliver efficient solutions. This position involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications based on business and technical requirements. You will analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application defects, performance issues, and production incidents in a timely manner, ensuring applications comply with organizational policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements. The role includes implementing secure coding practices, supporting application deployments and releases, and collaborating with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements. You will also conduct code reviews, utilize version control systems, create technical documentation, develop system integrations and APIs, and implement continuous integration and deployment pipelines. Collaboration with cross-project teams, staying updated on emerging technologies, and continuously enhancing technical skills are also key aspects of this position. Other duties as required.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in C#/.NET framework with experience in developing scalable and high-performance applications.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including database design, stored procedures and querying using T-SQL.
• Solid understanding of database normalization, indexing and query optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and frameworks like Angular or React.
• Experience with version control systems (eg. Git).
• Proficient in unit testing frameworks (eg. NUnit).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Sound judgment, integrity and respect for confidentiality.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• U.S. Citizenship or naturalized citizenship is required for this position.
• All work on all positions at Signature Performance must be completed in the continental United States, Alaska, or Hawaii.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in TriZetto/Cognizant Facets architecture and data model is a plus.
• Knowledge of API design and development including REST and SOAP.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high quality software applications based on business and technical requirements.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application defects, performance issues, and production incidents in a timely manner.
• Ensure applications comply with organizational policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Implement secure coding practices and assist with vulnerability remediation.
• Support application deployments, software releases, and change management activities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translate business needs to technical solutions and propose innovative approaches to address challenges.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability and scalability.
• Utilize version control systems (eg. Git) to manage code repositories and facilitate collaboration among team members.
• Create and maintain technical documentation including design documents, process flows and API specifications.
• Develop and maintain system integrations, APIs, data interfaces, and database components as required.
• Implement continuous integration and deployment pipelines to automate software builds, testing and deployment processes.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-project teams including project managers, business analysts, systems analysts and QA.
• Stay up to date on emerging technologies, industry trends and best practices in software development.
• Continuously enhance technical skills through self-learning, training and participation in professional development activities.
• Promote a collaborative learning environment by sharing expertise and providing support to developing team members.
