About The Position

We are hiring on behalf of our client, an established and rapidly expanding insurance organization who is seeking an ambitious Claims Team Lead specializing in Property, Auto, or General Liability (GL) to join the Dallas, TX office in a hybrid capacity. This position is tailored for either an experienced Claims Team Lead looking for a high-velocity environment or a senior Claims Handler ready to step up into formal people leadership. The client prioritizes exceptional drive, strong technical capability, and work ethic over raw tenure.

Requirements

5+ years of hands-on claims handling in Property, Auto, or General Liability (GL).
Active Texas (TX) Adjuster License is required; additional licenses in NY, CA, FL, or GA are highly preferred.
Strong organizational capabilities, self-directed prioritization, and comfort utilizing operational data to drive decision-making.
Demonstrated background in leading, mentoring, training, or coaching junior team members.
Ambitious, high-integrity professional adaptable to fast-paced, high-growth environments.
Active U.S. work authorization.

Nice To Haves

Additional licenses in NY, CA, FL, or GA are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and line-manage a dedicated team of Claims Handlers.
Drive operational excellence across quality metrics, team productivity, and customer satisfaction SLAs.
Manage daily workflow allocation, file assignment, and overall team capacity.
Conduct regular claims quality reviews and provide technical coaching to optimize team output.
Maintain complete portfolio oversight while identifying and escalating high-exposure risks early.
Serve as a subject matter expert in external client meetings and technical reviews.
Manage a small, select portfolio of claims directly to maintain technical sharpness.
