About The Position

Paschal Air, Plumbing & Electric is a multi-state home services company with 12+ locations across Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, and DFW. We are looking for someone who has been on the carrier or TPA side of insurance claims and wants to bring that expertise in-house. You know how the claims process works because you have lived it. You have managed caseloads, worked with adjusters, and understand the levers that move a claim forward or let it stall. Now you want to own the process from the inside, driving outcomes for one company instead of managing a book of 150 files. This role also owns our field safety program, connecting what happens on claims back to training and prevention.

Requirements

• 3–7 years as a claims examiner, claims adjuster, loss control consultant, or risk coordinator at an insurance carrier or TPA. You have been on the other side of the desk and you know how the game works.
• Experience with workers’ compensation, general liability, and commercial auto lines. Multi-state experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with the construction, mechanical, or home services trades is strongly preferred. You understand what happens in the field.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. You can manage dozens of open claims across multiple states without letting anything slip.
• Comfortable building a safety training program from the ground up. OSHA 30, CSP, ASP, or similar credentials are a plus but not required.
• Self-starter who thrives with autonomy. This is a role where you own the function. No one is going to hand you a playbook.

Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of all workers’ compensation, general liability, and auto claims across four states. Open, document, track, and push every claim to resolution.
• Serve as the primary point of contact with carriers, adjusters, TPAs, and defense counsel. You know how to keep claims moving and how to escalate when they stall.
• Monitor claim reserves, identify trends, and flag exposure before it becomes a problem. Proactive management, not reactive reporting.
• Coordinate return-to-work programs for injured employees, working with medical providers and field leadership to get people back safely and quickly.
• Manage certificate of insurance requests, policy renewals, and compliance documentation across all markets.
• Build and maintain the company safety program: toolbox talks, new hire safety orientation, field ride-alongs, incident investigations, and OSHA compliance.
• Analyze incident and claim data to identify root causes and translate them into targeted training content for field teams.
• Partner with operations leadership (GMs, field managers) to embed a culture of safety and accountability across all locations.
• Manage relationships with insurance brokers and carriers to ensure optimal coverage, competitive premiums, and strong loss control support.
