About The Position

As our Claims Representative on the TPA Services team, you will support the coordination of communication among clients, claim examiners, insurance carriers and captive managers. You will respond promptly to inquiries from clients and internal teams, provide guidance on reporting guidelines and procedures, and overall provide support to the TPA Services team.

Requirements

  • Professional track record with skills in processing and tracking claims
  • Ability to help clients by reporting claims per Special Handling Instructions
  • High degree of data integrity in the system
  • Clear and timely communication to avoid errors
  • Familiarity with building strong client relationships through clear communication and insurance knowledge
  • Ability to collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely service
  • Ability to manage workload effectively to meet client needs and service goals
  • Strong communication with Claims team members and provides timely and complete information to allow effective management of service execution

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of experience in claims handling within an insurance agency, carrier, or TPA
  • BA/BS degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field
  • Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

  • Processing and tracking claims by verifying information
  • Helping clients by reporting claims per the client Special Handling Instructions
  • Maintaining a high degree of data integrity in the system
  • Keeping communication clear and timely to avoid errors
  • Completing escrow funding requests
  • Overseeing Medicare reporting and NPDB reporting
  • Managing daily credentialling and loss runs requests
  • Ensuring compliance with reporting requirements
  • Reviewing defense counsel invoices and making adjustments based on each client’s litigation guidelines
  • Contributing to the development of internal claim procedures
  • Supporting Claims Examiners and internal teams in executing client strategies to deliver value and efficiency
  • Processing client-requested changes accurately and documenting them properly
  • Building strong client relationships through clear communication and insurance knowledge
  • Collaborating with internal departments to ensure timely service
  • Managing workload effectively to meet client needs and service goals
  • Providing timely and complete information to Claims team members to allow effective management of service execution
