Start your journey with us The Headquarters Claims department is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Litigation Specialist to handle and oversee key account workers’ compensation claims.

Requirements

  • knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Adobe
  • three or more years of workers’ compensation claim handling experience

Nice To Haves

  • AIC, CPCU, SCLA or other relevant education

Responsibilities

  • oversee workers’ compensation claims
  • supervise coverage/jurisdictional analysis and defense strategies
  • evaluate workers’ compensation exposure/reserves, including reserves greater than $100,000
  • work in team environment as part of Workers’ Compensation Claims
  • provide technical direction and support to claim handling associates
  • communicate effectively with agents and underwriters
  • participate in development and delivery of training, as needed
  • involvement in special projects, as needed
  • travel as needed relevant to position
  • pursue continuing education to remain current and attain expertise relevant to job duties
