About The Position

Our client is expanding their Loss Drafts Call Center Team and is seeking reliable, customer-focused Customer Service Representatives who can handle homeowner insurance claims with confidence, empathy, and professionalism—even when conversations get tough. If you’re calm under pressure 😎, tech-savvy 💻, and ready to build a career in claims, this role is for you! Calls can range from quick updates to complex conversations (1–45 minutes). Many callers may be frustrated—professionalism and thick skin are key.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of recent customer service experience (Call center preferred; escalations, claims, insurance, front desk, or admin acceptable)
  • Ability to handle difficult conversations with professionalism
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills (phone & email)
  • Proficiency using a Windows PC and navigating multiple systems
  • Typing speed 35 WPM or higher
  • Working cellphone (for dual authentication) 📱
  • Stable internet connection (for hybrid/remote work)
  • Reliable transportation 🚗

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of call center experience
  • Insurance, mortgage, or claims experience
  • Auto claims or Medicaid/Medicare experience
  • Bilingual Spanish 🇪🇸 (Spanish only)

Responsibilities

  • Handle approximately 35–45 inbound calls per day (average call time: 11–14 minutes)
  • Assist with existing homeowner insurance claims, coverage, and servicing inquiries
  • Support policyholders, insurance agents, and financial institutions with claim status and documentation questions
  • Navigate multiple systems to research, resolve, and document each call accurately
  • Manage escalated calls and challenging customer interactions professionally
  • Update claim notes thoroughly to ensure accurate documentation
  • Make outbound calls as needed for follow-ups and resolutions
  • Deliver prompt, accurate service while meeting quality and adherence standards
