About The Position

Collectors is seeking a Claims Coordinator to join their Claims team. This role is essential in assisting customers who have experienced damage or loss of their items during the return process. The Claims Coordinator will serve as the central liaison for customers navigating the claims process for their collectibles, guiding them through the complexities via phone and email. The position reports to the Claims Manager and is based in the Santa Ana office, requiring a 5-day per week onsite presence.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• 2+ years of administrative experience.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organization and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to manage time while prioritizing multiple tasks.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Suite Products.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Salesforce would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and process payment requests.
• Draft and send settlement/release agreements.
• Accurately maintain insurance logs.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of claim activities, correspondence, and decisions.
• Provide timely updates on the status of payments.
• Provide exceptional internal customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to process payment requests for customers.
