Under general supervision, the primary responsibility of the Claims Center Support Specialist is providing customer service to all visitors of South Carolina Education Lottery’s (SCEL) Claims Center. Additionally, this position will provide assistance to the Claims Center Staff by reviewing player claims information, disbursing prize checks, performing clerical duties, and working with the public. This position is at-will and will not be covered by the South Carolina State Employee Grievance Procedure Act.
