About The Position

We are looking for Claims Assistant to join our team. This role will be responsible for assisting the claims auditor by ensuring filings, documentation, and reports are accurately and timely entered into our databases. Your Impact: Assists claimants, providers, and clients with problems or questions regarding their claims and/or policies Ensuring compliance with state laws, company policies, and procedures in all claim-related activities Monitor incoming emails and enter information received in database within 24 hours Enter 50% notices/Trigger Diagnosis Reports and alert nurse on any potentially large claimant based on the guidelines established (diagnosis and/or dollar amount) Enter LCM (Large Case Management) notices and notify the nurse Process claims, checks and SLAM Reports Successful Candidate Will Have: BA/BS degree preferred or high school diploma with six to twelve months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Ability to process high volume of transactions accurately Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook Ability to work independently and with others in a team environment About One80: One80 Intermediaries is part of Arrowhead Intermediaries, a global insurance distribution platform that offers deep specialization, scale, and innovation across wholesale brokerage, program administration, and specialty insurance. Requirements
