As an Auto Estimator, you will collect vehicle information from repair shops or customers and complete initial and supplemental estimates using photos or in-person inspections. You may be the first point of contact for insureds, explaining coverage, estimating vehicle damage, and guiding them through the claims process while providing customer service. The role uses automated estimating systems, supports claim handlers on vehicle repair issues, and evaluates vehicle damage, repair bids, photo documentation, causation, market value, and reparability. This is a remote-field position. You will work from home to complete virtual estimates and use a mobile office or vehicle for in-person appointments with body shops and customers. The position is located in the Charlotte, North Carolina territory, and candidates should live within commuting distance. You may be asked to work outside your assigned territory as business needs dictate. Hours of operation may change based on business needs; flexible shifts, overtime, and irregular hours may be required. Employees must successfully complete required training, applicable proficiency requirements and licensing exams, and required motor vehicle record and background checks.
