Our Claim Specialists are dedicated to assisting customers through the claims process with Remarkable® service. This role involves investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and settling claims, applying policy knowledge and insurance regulations to determine coverage, liability, and damages. You will handle high-volume inbound and outbound calls, written correspondence, and electronic media, tailoring each interaction to the specific claim. Effective management of work through task-driven queues and multitasking in a fast-paced call center environment are essential. The position supports customers through personalized, caring, and simple interactions. This is a hybrid position, allowing for a blend of remote and in-office work. During training, more time may be spent in the office to support learning. Hours of operation are subject to change based on business needs, and successful candidates must be able to work flexible shifts, including potential overtime and irregular hours. Multiple Claim Specialist opportunities may be available depending on skill alignment.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in using CCC, Xactimate, XactContents, and other estimating/evaluation software tools
  • Strong knowledge of auto and/or property insurance policies, coverage and claim handling practices
  • Familiarity with state or local regulations and compliance requirements
  • Proven ability to assess damages, estimate repair costs, and negotiate settlements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, agents, and other stakeholders
  • Proven effective empathy and de-escalation skills to handle difficult/emotional conversations with a customer-minded focus
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Ability to multi-task across technical platforms

  • Must successfully complete all required training, including applicable proficiency and licensing exam(s) and background checks required of various state(s).

  • Potential starting salary ranges: $63,089.65 - $71,710.00 annually
