About The Position

Bothwell-Accurate Co. Ltd. has been a leader in roofing, waterproofing, cladding and glazing services across British Columbia and Ontario for over 90 years. With more than 60,000 completed projects, we’re known for delivering high-quality, innovative and reliable building envelope solutions to commercial, industrial and institutional clients. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a Cladding Estimator to play a key role in delivering competitive and accurate bids from our Surrey office. Requirements

  • A diploma or degree in Architectural Technology, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in construction, preferably in cladding, façade systems, or building envelope projects
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills for cost estimation and quantity take-offs
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and clients
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Excel, and GoNest (or similar estimating/optimization software)
  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Review project documents, including drawings and specifications, to assess scope and requirements
  • Perform quantity take-offs and material estimates using architectural drawings
  • Prepare cost estimates for cladding projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness
  • Submit bids and track project proposals to ensure timely submissions
  • Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to gather pricing information and negotiate costs
  • Communicate with project managers, site supervisors, and clients to ensure alignment on project scope
  • Use industry-specific software, such as Bluebeam and Microsoft Office, for estimating and documentation
  • Maintain and update cost databases, historical pricing records, and bid tracking systems
