Flare Construction is actively hiring an experienced Water Truck Driver for a civil construction project in Las Vegas, Nevada, starting in August 2026. This is a steady, project-based assignment with a well-established contractor operating across the western U.S. The company is a full-service heavy civil and energy contractor with nearly 50 years of experience building infrastructure across the Western US. Requirements

  • Valid Class A CDL required
  • Tanker endorsement required
  • Current DOT medical card required
  • No license restrictions preferred
  • Experience operating a water truck on civil construction, grading, or earthwork projects strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of DOT Hours of Service and pre-trip inspection requirements
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions and maintain a consistent schedule for the duration of the project
  • Clean driving record required
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement and current medical card
  • English (Required)

  • CDL A (Required)

Nice To Haves

  • OSHA 10 preferred
  • Water truck: 1 year (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Operate a water truck on an active civil construction site to support dust control, compaction, and site grading operations
  • Coordinate water application with grade checkers, equipment operators, and crew supervisors to keep the project on schedule
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; identify and report mechanical issues promptly
  • Maintain accurate driver logs and DOT documentation per federal and company requirements
  • Participate in daily safety briefings and all required site safety training
  • Support general site logistics as needed throughout the project
