Requirements

Valid Class A CDL required
Tanker endorsement required
Current DOT medical card required
No license restrictions preferred
Experience operating a water truck on civil construction, grading, or earthwork projects strongly preferred
Working knowledge of DOT Hours of Service and pre-trip inspection requirements
Ability to work in all weather conditions and maintain a consistent schedule for the duration of the project
Clean driving record required
High school diploma or GED
Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement and current medical card
English (Required)

OSHA 10 preferred

Responsibilities

Operate a water truck on an active civil construction site to support dust control, compaction, and site grading operations
Coordinate water application with grade checkers, equipment operators, and crew supervisors to keep the project on schedule
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; identify and report mechanical issues promptly
Maintain accurate driver logs and DOT documentation per federal and company requirements
Participate in daily safety briefings and all required site safety training
Support general site logistics as needed throughout the project
