About The Position

SEH is currently searching for a Civil Wastewater Engineer / Project Manager to join their talented Water/Wastewater team. This role involves supporting the planning, design, and construction of a wide variety of water treatment and wastewater treatment projects. The position requires developing creative solutions to complex water and wastewater treatment and conveyance challenges, working closely with a team of engineers, designers, and other professionals. Collaboration with multi-discipline teams to deliver innovative project solutions and building/strengthening client relationships in collaboration with experienced project managers are key aspects of this opportunity. This opportunity is open to candidates residing in MN, WI, IA, NE, KS or TX.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering, or a related field
  • Licensed Professional Engineer or ability to obtain within six months
  • Experience in the design and construction of municipal, state, federal, or industrial drinking water or wastewater treatment projects
  • Knowledge of water / wastewater treatment systems, equipment, and regulations

Nice To Haves

  • Eight (8) years of experience designing and/or managing wastewater treatment or conveyance projects
  • Eight (8) years of experience designing and/or managing drinking water projects, including treatment, wells and pumphouses, storage facilities, booster stations, and distribution systems
  • Knowledge of regional water and wastewater issues and familiarity with the municipal government client base
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to scope and budget new drinking and wastewater facility projects and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools

  • Support the planning, design, and construction of a wide variety of water treatment and wastewater treatment projects.
